You got me going in circles

New hairdo compliments of my old stylist. When I was a loose natural I went to her every 2 weeks... Unfortunately she's not a sisterlocks trainee or consultant. she specializes in natural hair and locs but not in sisterlocks... I'm trying to encourage her to go the class. In the meantime ill be making 2 trips. 1. To my trainee consultant and 2 to my stylist....

8 months in and I still love my sisterlocks! I love how lightweight they feel and I love the natural fullness and body of my super thick hair.

Happy 8th month to me!

Please check out my photos. Today is my 8th months sisterlocks anniversary... Below are pictures of my hair today after my reti. Today she gave me a bottle of SL mosituizing spray to try out for a month. I'll give a review of this in one month... Sn my new picture with my new hairstyle will be posed later on today! Under the dryer

It's the night before my 2nd retighten with Ms. Zelda and decided to wash my hair and sit under the dryer. Tomorrow will also be my 8th month sisterlocks anniversary! Go me!

I think I am getting better at washing my hair. I'm probably not... But this go round I did get all the shampoo out of my hair. I also added smaller sections in my hair when I was banding it. That makes it easier to wash it.

This go round I also put my SL shampoo in a spray bottle that I diluted it with water and sprayed it directly on my scalp. That seems to help( got the idea from YouTube)
Also once a month just to give my sisterlocks that extra clean feeling. I spray my apple cider vinegar and water that I have in a spray bottle on my hair. I let it sit for a few mintues and then I rinse it out.( got the idea from from my former consultant, Ms. Tanisha, oh how I miss her), I don't know why but I don't put anything on my hair except the SL shampoo but I seems to have build up in my hair from time to time so I use that before I wash my hair with the sisterlocks shampoo. So far so good.

Owt & Abowt

In one week I will celebrate my 8th month sisterlocks anniversary! Another gr8 milestone is that I have also lost and maintained my 20+ pound weight lost!

Freeze!!!

It could be everyone but I swear when I put my hair in a ponytail and try to take it down it stays in a freeze zone. Lol. I don't put anything in my hair. Spritzing it with water doesn't work either... Maybe my hair is super thick but I literally have to pull my hair in sections. I just thought that seeing that my hair doesn't have any weight my SL would just drop down when I take my ponytail holder or loc soc off. I was mistaken! Lol. If anyone has a suggestions or are experiencing this let me know... An excuse the facial expressions... I like making silly faces in the mirror... Until next time!

Hairdo to meet Pres.Obama

Good evening everyone! I know its unlike me to not have a new hairdo by now. But here is my latest hairstyle...this is courtesy of my coworker... special thank you goes to her. I call this hairstyle Mr.President. bc I get to meet the President of United States tomorrow. I am so excited. I got bumped up to VIP. What a blessing!  Below is when I stood in line.
