I am comparing pictures of day one of my install 1/23/2012 and now.... Wow its crazy what 2 months have done. My hair has already began to swell. The white is the day of my install. The green was taken yesterday 2 months later..

2nd reti/ new updo (3D swoop)

 I don't know what to call this new hairstyle but I absolutely love it... My wonderful consultant has done it again.... I have been using the loc soc at night to cover my head. Looks like I will have to get rid of that. That was 30 bucks down the drain. But hey you live and learn. I will probably use them as a headband.. I think the elastic band rubbing on my locs made some of my locs loose around the edges.  So she had to fix those... She also had to combine 2... I now have 696... Darn those weak thin locs... I'm trying to birth 2 more not lose 2.lol...My reti took a total of 3 hours... Not bad considering that she had to repair those that slip.I was wearing the loc soc at night as a night cap and I was also wearing it to the gym when I worked out and where the band s of the loc socs were were were my hair slipped at.

I completely stopped using the rosewater and I no longer have any more build up in my hair. I also no loinger have a dry itchy scalp anymore. So that is cool. So I now know that that def came from  the rosewater. A lot of people rave and say so many amazing things about the rosewater. I am sure it works, correction, it actually did work on my hair however it was just not my bff. lol. .. Here is a picture of my hair after the reti... Sn shrinkage is something serious... And the rest are of my new updo... I hope you guys like it. Also people always ask does ny hair hurt from the updos and my hair doesn't hurt at all. I will be rocking this do for the next 2 weeks!
PS. I finally thought of a name... 3D Swoop.. it only took me 4 days after writing this post to think of it. lol.

2 months with sisterlocks

I don't know if its just me or mAybe I cannot add. Lol. I got my sisterlocks installeded on 1/23/2012.... So today officay makes it 2 months but when I look at the calendar I am counting 9 weeks... Either way happy birthday to meeeeeee below are pictures of my hair on our 2 month birthday!

I love my consultant. Thank you again Tanisha!!! This style was very simple. I asked for thin twists up, and the front kind of freestyle no curl added, and a side bang. I love side bangs. I dont know if you guys noticed that or not. Since my hair is so thick, it looked kindof bushy and weird... I was like it needs something else. Hence the crown. She said I can roll it around for you. So I said lets try it. Then  a lady who was looking at my consultant style my hair said it looks like of like a crown. I like it. I like it too. You just named this hairstyle. lol. HAPPY 7 WEEKS SISTERLOCKVERY TO ME

I am such a dork. Buttt I was on a blog and someone told me how to create a collage. So I created 2 so that you can see my sisterlocks(tm) progression so far. I loveeeeeeee my hair!!! I go in next week for my 2nd reti! If my hair looks this good at 7 weeks I cannot w8 to see what my hair looks like 6 months from now, or even a year from now.

6 weeks update w.my sisterlocks

I am 2 days shy of my 7 weeks sisterlocks versary....I just wanted to give u a mini hair update. I have some locs here and there that are thin and short. But let me make a disclaimer: They are not thin becasue I got my sisterlocks installed, They were mini sections that were already thin and short before I got my sisterlocks installed. I have a very small sections on one part of my head that is thin... But I have so much hair you cannot even see it... Esp if its 2 or 3 locs in a spot here and there.  The ones that were short are growing. I cannot really really tell if the rest of my hair is growing. When I reach my 3 month mark I will take pictures of my SL at different angles so that you can see if my hair is growing. I am also going to do that at my 6, 9, and 12 month mark as well. Just so that you can see the progession. I know someone was telling me that when your hair goes through the teenage stage your hair can strink up, then once it hits the mature stage it drops back down. I have slippage every now and then but it is the same 2 or 3 thin ones. But that is one of the good things about going to my consultant every 7-10 days to get my hair washed and styled. As soon as she sees one that is slipping she just corrects it right then and there and there is no extra charge! How awesome is she? My goal is that by the end of my first year that those thin locs will be secure and swollen. The  Rosewater is helping. I bought my consultant like 6 bottles to share with her clients. I hope they like it as much as I do. SN. My hair really does smell like roses, if you guys were wondering. After my consultant washed my hair with the Sisterlocks Starter shampoo she sprayed the rosewater on my scalp. My hair did not itch for 3 days. So that is a huge breakthrough. Time is flying by so fast! Soon my hair will be reaching the 2 month mark, and before I know it the 6 month mark! I am so excited!
SN: there is this fashion show/ natural hair event coming up in April. I beleive it is called Beauty and the Beat. But I won a free hairstyle AND a front row ticket to the event which includes a bag of free goody from my consultant. I am excited! What a blessing..
