The takedown

Hey everyone! As much as I loved the founders day hairstyle and loved all the compliments I was getting. I had to take down that hairstyle. And your probably wondering why.. welllsssss in ny antoine Dobson voice. It was just took tight. I hung in there for founders day but yesterday it was unbearable. So I called ny styliar and asked het could she take Down the updo. She said yrs and in the mist of taking down hairstyle one, we discovered hairstyle 2. I wanted a hump to remain the front and she did that and wahlay... It's pretty cute. Also check out the hang time. It's a 98% chance that my sisterlocks will shrink up and won't be laying flat bit I have accepted that. Sn. What I found interesting is that even though my hair is hanging, if you actually pull my hair it is 2-3 maybe longer than in the picture. Anywho I hope you like this hairstyle too. Founders day hairdo

Hello everyone. Many of you guys,may not know it but I am a proud, active and financial member of DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY INC. on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 we celebrated 100 years. What an amazing, mindblowing experience!  But before I went to dc to celebrate my  founders day with my Soror, I had to dress up my hair...take a look at my new hairstyle that entitled "founders day do"

Length check at 11 months

Everyone loves a nice length check. Also this is my favorite lounge clothing. I'm very aware that this does not match. Lol

Happy 11th Month SLanniversary to ME!

YAY! I took a day 1 and month 11 comparison picture. Also I took some random pictures as well. Although my hair shrunk up, my hair def has grown a lot and made excellent progression... I hope to reach my hair goal by summer '13.   Anywhk here are some random freestyle pictures I took when I got bored lol.

Wild n crazy sisterlocks

I got bored... But basically I'm rocking a Freestyle look. I used the wake up with curls rollers, put on a handband, then shook my head from side to side up and down. So I call it wild n crazy!

Hair locking?

A lot of ppl ask me am I concern with my hair locking. To be honest, I could care less if it does or doesn't. As long as I can continue to style my hair as much as I want, when I want I'm happy. I love my jet black hair, and I have never been one to care about dying my hair. One day I might color, I'm lying. Lol. If I do I probably will use a spray you know the kind you can wash out with shampoo. If they don't make those kind I probably won't ever color. I'm happy with natural hair color. I have enjoyed my sisterlock process literally every single day. I go in for a reti in a few days!  Craziness I can't believe in 9 days I will been 11 month and in 1 month and 9 days I will be a year! Time really does fly! Thanks for reading... 10 months of fun

Hello everyone! I just realize that I never posted the collage of some of my favorite styles... I celebrated 10 month with my SL on Nov.23rd and I am still happy with my decision... It's also really cool when I get messages from people and they tell me that my blog helped them decide that SL were the right decision for them. Also thank you everyone for all the nice comments and liking all of my hairstyles. It is greatly appreciated!
