Hello everyone I graduated with my Master in Clinical Social Work on 12/13/14. I decided to do curls but I didn't separate them BC I have a lot of hair. They dropped just right on the big day. Below are some pictures of my big day. Until next time!

After admiring/researching sisterlocks for 2 months, I decided it was the right choice for me. After 3 years of being a loose natural, I was ready to embark on a new journey. This blog is about my journey to becoming sisterlocked and hopefully it is helpful for individuals thinking about getting their hair locked but have been afraid to take the final step.(Plz do not use any of my pics w/o my consent. Thanks!)

Hair Update
So i went to one of my best friend's graduation over the weekend and decided to get my hair styled which I am very much so aware that I have not done that in a while. Below are pictures of the updo and graduation weekend. Good times were had. I very proud of him. Im next. Lol.
I go in this week for a retighten. I have a hair goal for myself. As you all may or may not know hair grows on a average of 1/2 inch a month. Seeing that it May my goal is that my hair grows between 3.5-4 inches by my graduation which is in December. I have changed my earing habit and I have in fact started doing the dr. Ian smith super shred. So far I have been on it for 2 weeks and I have lost 4 lbs and dropped down 2 % in body fat. It would have been more but I messed up when I went to Philly so I am starting that week over again. I have incorporated 2 a days and I work out 5 days a a week. My ultimate goal is to get up to 6-7 days a week.
Now you are probably asking now what does you going on a diet and changing your eating habit have to do with your hair. Well its simple. I have come to the conclusion that how can I say that I am natural and my hair has no chemicals in my hair when I am flooding my body with unhealthy goods. it does not make sense. Now dont get me wrong I love food more than the average person and compared to others I may not be consider overweight but I know I was not living a healthy lifestyle with my eating habits. So I have been back on track and I am proud of myself. One day at a time right... eating healthy will promote not only a leaner and toner body but it will also give me lots of energy and will allow my hair to grow and be shiny.
Thats its for now. You guys are more tha. Welcome to follow my fitness journey on youtube naturalnikkidst
