    1. I go to LOG for my sisterlocks. Her and little Cindy usually do my hair. You will not be disappointed by anyone in the shop.

    3. I did not know that Tanisha was not doing sisterlocks...or taking new clients...I know at one point she was overwhelmed with sisterlocks clients! I moved from stl about 2 years ago..I am bias and will always tell people about Tanisha..I never went to LOG but I have seen their work. Also Tanisha would not recommend you to someone bad. When Tanisha had sl, Tameka started hers sl. Hopefully you enjoy your install and your new relationship with Temeka! I would love to see pictures of your install! Have a great one!

  2. Hey Soror, I have 3 tiny starter locs and I've been scouring the net reading about the pros and cons of sisterlocks and viewing albums. My loc appointment is tentatively set for the end of April and I'm still on the fence about getting it done. I've been natural over 20 years, but I've never loc'ced my hair before.

    1. First off thank you for stopping by my page... i had never loced my hair when i started my sisterlocks.your hair doesnt loc right away, that part takes time. It took almost 3 years before my hair loced.... and there are still some locs that are not locked. But i am fine with that.... for me,i just saw sisterlocks one day on youtube, researched them for a few weeks and got them installed and i have not looked back.i have not had any regrets. Many some consultants i did not care for when i moved but other than that. No one regrets. Nothing is permanent. .. if you dont like them. You can always comb them out. I will not lie it would be a long process but locs are not the end all. For me its just hair. I loved my relaxed hair, i just wanted to try something different. So i big chopped. I loved my big fro but when i discovered sisterlocks i felt it was right for me. When i met my consultant o felt at ease, and i personally felt like i was making the right decision. She was very knowledgable and helpful. I don't have a bad hair day with sisterlocks. Case in point i went over 9 weeks without getting a retighten. I thought my hair looked crazy but i got tons of compliments. Sisterlocks are medium maintenance. You have to go in for your retightens but other that that your good to go. I would def. Say if you are on the fence about it and you don't want to do it then def go with your gut. I am not going to try to sway you one way or another. Bc at the end of the day, it is what you want...sisterlocks are not for everyone and that is ok. I look forward to hearing what you decide to do.
